SPEAKER_01

I'm Juan Rivera. I'm Ronnie Rivera. I'm Kat Grainy.

SPEAKER_00

I'm Nathan Austin.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm Katie Austin.

SPEAKER_00

You guys, welcome. Did I say and you did?

SPEAKER_01

You started to, yes.

SPEAKER_05

Welcome to our 100th episode. Woo!

SPEAKER_01

I wish I had like a popper. Oh, we should.

SPEAKER_05

Next time. 200. 200. 200 popper. We're at 100 episodes. That is crazy. I'm so excited. I get I'm like a little giddy because we it's a lot of work and we've done 100 episodes. That's exciting. That's exciting.

SPEAKER_01

I couldn't believe it. When you said, oh, our hundredth episode has come. I was like, what? Hundred.

SPEAKER_00

What? Honestly, it feels like we've done more. Yeah. You know?

SPEAKER_05

Yes, it sure does. When you say it, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Some TV shows don't even get to 100 episodes. They always celebrate episodes.

SPEAKER_05

Episodes.

SPEAKER_01

Wait, don't they normally do like a singing episode?

SPEAKER_05

Oh yeah. This is our musical episode.

SPEAKER_00

This is our musical episode. We posted Is that a thing? That's a thing, right?

SPEAKER_02

I swear that I did it. Buffy did it.

SPEAKER_00

Is it for like was it for a certain number?

SPEAKER_02

I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

The centennial or something? Oh, we gotta sing now.

SPEAKER_05

It's weird. A lot of shows do musical episodes. Remember that's how Raven had to pass that aren't? Yes. They had the musical.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like almost every show, if it goes on long enough, does a musical episode where something happens and like Imagine you're the writer, you're like, hey, I have an idea. I was gonna say Glee did a musical episode, but every episode was a beautiful. I do think they did a special, special musical episode, though.

SPEAKER_02

Where they sung all the time.

SPEAKER_01

The entire thing was sung, I think.

SPEAKER_05

Anyway, we posted on our store yesterday asking for your guys' favorite moments and then uh and some questions and stuff. So we have a few. So we're gonna read over them.

SPEAKER_01

Okay. I do have one from one of our favorite people, Joey. Hi, Joey. Hi, Jovi. She said, um, hey guys, I can't pick a favorite AGP memory because there were too many fun moments that I loved. But I do have a question for you all. What's your favorite dinosaur? Dinosaur. She said, Congratulations on a hundred episodes. So thank you, Jovi.

SPEAKER_02

Dinosaur.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, favorite dinosaur. I feel like Nathan probably knows because he's like the straight guy. I also I also have a favorite dinosaur. You want me to go?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, go.

SPEAKER_02

Let's go down the line. Okay, uh, the Brontosaurus. Which one's that one? The long neck. You took my long neck?

SPEAKER_05

I should have said it. I was literally gonna be like, I don't know the name, but this one.

SPEAKER_02

Okay, so you know why they're my favorite. So when I was in elementary school, I had to do a project and I chose the Bronosaurus, and because I had a Lego Bronnosaurus, and I built it and everything, and then built a diagram around it. So I learned all about the Bronosaurus, and then when Jurassic Park came out, it was like the first dinosaur you saw. And I was like, they're so big and beautiful, and then they're in the trees with the sneezes all over and they're gentle, but they're huge. Yeah, yeah. Like a big puppy dog.

SPEAKER_00

I mean, maybe. Maybe, I don't know. It could have been really violent, right? That's true.

SPEAKER_02

They could have just stomped everything to death.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, I guess we don't really know anything.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Are they even real? We don't even know.

SPEAKER_01

We don't know if they look like conspiracy theories. Let's not.

SPEAKER_00

I've seen this video where they took a chicken skeleton and how like similar it is to a T-Rex skeleton, and they're like, we're just assuming a T-Rex look like that.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

But it could have looked like a giant chicken. That's yeah.

SPEAKER_02

As the Jurassic Parks came out, that more and more of them got feathers.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, but now they took feathers away again.

SPEAKER_02

No, stupid.

SPEAKER_00

Remember in the newer ones, the Velociraptors don't have feathers.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like the feathers are like very cool to think of them all being feathered. Yeah. You know. Just think of if it was giant chickens. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So when I was a kid, my favorite was the Velociraptor, but then from Jurassic Park, because I've actually seen that maybe like five or six times in theaters when I was a kid. But then I learned like they weren't really that big. Velociraptor. Velociraptors are actually small. It's the Utah Raptor that was big. So I guess my favorite is a Utah Raptor. Okay.

SPEAKER_02

But how big how little are we talking about?

SPEAKER_00

They were littler. Like uh how big are they?

SPEAKER_01

Didn't they have them in like the little ones in like the second movie and they ate that? Yeah, but that was a different type of but those really stuck with me.

SPEAKER_02

I thought they were adorable until they started eating the kid. But those were too, but those were something else.

SPEAKER_00

So Velociraptor was between um, it was about uh 2.1 meters or 4.9 to 6 foot 8 long. So we're talking about um So four feet tall, you said?

SPEAKER_02

I still I I don't know. I picture Velociraptors that size.

SPEAKER_05

I'm looking at a chart of dinosaur breeds.

SPEAKER_02

Species, I think I think they're called.

SPEAKER_00

It stood about 1.6 feet tall.

SPEAKER_02

Oh, that is tiny. So the Utah Raptors are like the four five feet ones that they portray in the movies. You have a new Velociraptor. Oh, you know what yourself.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, so the Utah Raptor was about five uh stood about five feet tall. But they're super long too. Yeah. Okay. My favorite.

SPEAKER_05

Is he gonna say this one? I was going to, but I the Dilophosaurus. What the fore.

SPEAKER_04

Did you say dildoophoris? Well, that makes sense, right? Dildophorus. It's the one in the car that spits.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. They're very pretty. Yeah. They're very drama.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like if they had sexuality, they'd be gay because they're like, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, but also too, like, all that's made up. No, they don't actually spit. The furl is because the thing is is made up. Like they don't even know if that if that that's a good thing.

SPEAKER_02

Well, they have a frilled lizard.

SPEAKER_00

You don't think that would I mean they Yeah, but there's no fossils with like a they just like put that in there. And the spitting, that's that's all.

SPEAKER_05

That's not my favorite. No, actually, I was gonna say this originally because they're so calm.

SPEAKER_01

What are they called?

SPEAKER_02

I like that word just like well, there's the brachiosaurus and a brontosaurus.

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Don't know don't know why I know so much about dinosaurs, but there's a different head shape and they are size different a little bit.

SPEAKER_00

Spitting dinosaur, that's what I'll call it. That just hearing that song literally makes me want to cry. I don't know why. Like it activates, it like does something in my brain. I'm like, it just like snaps me back to my childhood or something. It was I like that. Uh you know, at the end when they're flying home in the helicopter and it's like playing it softly in the background and you're like, you made it, you did it, guys. Or like that kitchen scene when the when they're like in the kitchen.

SPEAKER_01

Oh my god, that one, your heart is racing. The j jello scene.

SPEAKER_02

Every time I eat jello, I still go. Just to get the wiggle.

SPEAKER_01

So uh okay, I think I'm gonna go with the triceratops. No, I do like the tricks. I do like the three-horn, you know, and then they also kind of remind me of huge Scotties. You know?

SPEAKER_02

Well, you have a Velociraptor now.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

And uh a triceratops.

SPEAKER_01

They do very, they're very muscular. They're like squawk and low to the ground, and like and they don't put up with shit. Yeah, that they're I mean, assuming, right? Land before time. I was like another land before time.

SPEAKER_02

That's also probably why I like brontosauruses, because you know, little footman.

SPEAKER_01

Oh man, I know. The kids don't get it.

SPEAKER_02

What? What is he brachiosaurus? What is he?

SPEAKER_04

He's some other type of thing. Anyways, go ahead. He's some other type of thing. Is he not? I wouldn't know we gotta know. I gotta look at it. He's a long neck. That's all you need to know.

SPEAKER_02

But his like actual species, I thought they just called them long necks.

SPEAKER_04

No, I know. I don't know what he is.

SPEAKER_02

Oh.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, now we gotta know.

SPEAKER_02

I'm looking it up.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, it's an appetosaurus.

SPEAKER_05

Apatosa Apatosaurus.

SPEAKER_02

You know, I always uh really liked tegosaurus after freaking uh Spike because I just loved him.

SPEAKER_01

I do. I was that was I was considering that because I just loved him in that.

SPEAKER_02

It says often called a Brontosaurus or a long neck, though. The Abrosaurus.

SPEAKER_00

I like uh neck. I like uh I also like Triteratops. Did someone say that one? Yeah, Katie did. She just said right on vaping.

SPEAKER_01

Why are you thinking what are you doing? I just think they're pretty bad at the best thing. What are you doing over there? Oh, he's looking at dinosaur facts. Yeah, because I said they're like the Scotties of the dinosaur world.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

They're like stocky and like low to the ground and muscular and assholes. I remember when I was pointing things on the face.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah, yeah, like eyebrows eyebrows.

SPEAKER_00

I thought it was interesting when we the in Jurassic Park, you know how he's like laying on his stomach and he's breathing. And I'm like, that's her stomach, they were all crazy. It's like a rhino, though, right? Yeah, very like a rhino is like so similar. I don't know.

SPEAKER_02

They're kind of leathery looking too. Leathery looking. Well, I mean, assuming we don't know what they're technically their skin was. It could have been covered in feathers.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, and then the mammal's like, yeah, now I'm a dinosaur.

SPEAKER_02

Wow.

SPEAKER_05

No. What a great question, Shelby. I don't remember the good. Oh, yeah, coon tent. Wow.

SPEAKER_04

What is sorry, Ronnie? What is uh mine would probably be an iguanodon from uh Aladar. Remember the dinosaur movie with the he's like a blue dinosaur walking around. He's raised by monkey lemur things. I don't think I ever saw that one. It's dinosaurs, it's Disney. But it's an iguanodon, they're really cool. I like the name.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Look it up, look up iguanodon. Look up an Aladar. Aladdar the iguanodon.

SPEAKER_02

Other ones I always liked.

SPEAKER_04

I was like, I do like Triceratops as well, but that's because of Land Before Time.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Sarah.

SPEAKER_04

Sarah was a bitch and I loved iguanodon.

SPEAKER_02

I was kind of like, I always like pterodactyls too because of not a dinosaur. Uh Petri.

SPEAKER_00

Not a dinosaur.

SPEAKER_02

Petri. Peter or Petri. Pea tree. I was like Ducky too, I don't know, kind of. Oh, I love Ducky.

SPEAKER_04

And Spike. Oh Chomper. I love that. I love the whole cast. The whole cast. Okay.

SPEAKER_00

I do think getting killed by one of those would be the scariest.

SPEAKER_04

With pterodector. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

There's one that cuts the coattle one. It's like it's it's so gigantic. So it would just like I mean, but they would assume as they would just like swab.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, it was like the Jurassic Park movie.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it kind of terrified me about them as well, where they're like ripping people and throwing them in the air.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they're aggressive.

unknown

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Do you guys like the new Jurassic Parks?

SPEAKER_02

Not as much as their originals. Yeah, I guess.

SPEAKER_00

I don't like that they like keep trying to make dinosaurs scarier. I'm like, they're already scary. They're like, here's like this. We don't need help.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, they're like, now let's make it. Yeah, let's combine genetics and make something even worse.

SPEAKER_00

Like, it's just they're like, hey, we made Godzilla, basically.

SPEAKER_01

And now this one can like have special powers. You're like, okay.

SPEAKER_00

This one shoots laser beams out of its mouth.

SPEAKER_04

The mutant one, it's too much. Speed. I like the one with Chris Pratt because it was kind of it went somewhere. They were in a park, and then it got messed up. They got loose, and then they were in the real world, so they had to help. You know, it kind of the story grew and it didn't turn into just oh biohazard again. Oh, they made a new thing. Oh no, the same thing. This island has this dinosaur now. Let's go get it.

SPEAKER_05

I liked the first Chris Pratt Jurassic Park, and then I did not.

SPEAKER_01

I started like I don't think we watched after that. Really?

SPEAKER_00

We haven't seen any of the Jurassic World like where they went into the regular world. I would like to. Those are good. I would like to go and watch those and give them a chance.

SPEAKER_02

But Sam Neil just died recently. It made me really sad. Yes. He just he played Alan Grant. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I was really sad.

SPEAKER_02

I was like, oh.

SPEAKER_01

I feel like that's all I know him from. Yeah. He was on other things too.

SPEAKER_04

He was on a show called Merlin. It's an old show. A long time ago. That was a good question. That was a good question.

SPEAKER_01

Okay.

SPEAKER_02

Is there another question?

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Um, so uh Renee Marie said, What do you like to collect? I have a jar of nails and a collection of matted pelts.

SPEAKER_04

Legos. I collect Legos.

SPEAKER_02

I would say I don't really collect anything from the dog grooming world. I used to. I used to collect nails back in the day and matted a few matted pelts just to show people though. Just be like, this is why we can't demat your dogs. Your dog's hair like this. But I would only I I kept a swatch like this big at Pet Smart.

SPEAKER_01

So I don't technically collect anything dog related, but I do have a lot of my dog's teeth and cats. And not necessarily purposeful, but like you find them and you just like put them somewhere.

SPEAKER_00

Okay, but not rotten ones. No, no, no. Like puppy teeth.

SPEAKER_01

I'm not saying thank you for yes, you're right. Puppy teeth. And then I oddly have a lot of my dog's hair collected. I have my Scotty's very first full strip. I kept all of her hair, and it's basically in like a pelted like circle. Like felted. Felted, yeah. It's like a felted circle.

SPEAKER_02

You should get it felted into. I actually have I've thought about that. So I have two of my dogs that someone was just making them for canine companions, and they act for asked for a little swatch of their hair, and then they felted them with other material into dot little versions of them. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, if any if any of our listeners are felt dogs, I have a whole thing. I'd love a Scotty. But I also have, oddly enough, my standard poodles' ears, when I cut them, they're wrapped up in a drawer.

SPEAKER_00

I do want to say though, keeping a jar of nails is pretty fucking nasty. Girl. I mean, I get it. I get it. But when I read it, I was like, ew.

SPEAKER_01

I think a lot of I think there's a lot more people that collect nails than you think. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I know. And it is nasty. Are you gonna accept there's no argument? There's no argument to not being nasty, right? I mean, you could be nasty. Let your freak flag fly. But like, I couldn't, I wouldn't not be able to smell it. You know what I mean? And I feel like that's look at it. If I seen a big jar of dog nails, I'd be like, That's disgusting.

SPEAKER_04

Yes, you know, like you just do have to decline to come in more often.

SPEAKER_00

Give it a smell and be like, you know?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. I used to collect uh nails when I worked at Petsmart because they would always come in like super long. You'd get the ones a year, people. The Malcolm.

SPEAKER_04

The philosophers ones that just collect them. That's the one, that's the one from the Jell O scene that's the one. I want somebody to see that.

SPEAKER_01

I want somebody to do that, to like put it between their fingers.

SPEAKER_04

I'm like, Juan had a really big one once, and he used to take it out for like new, new, new uh associates. I would try my nails. It was fucking.

SPEAKER_02

Well, look at the dog that's a little bit. Read the nails. Or like uh Harry Potter when they swirled the tea.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, the tea. The lucky Rafiki, just like nasty. Yeah, so whenever anyone would cut big ones, they would give them to me because they knew I collected them. I also used to have a little container filled with uh ear cleaner and then all any ticks that we would like. We would put them in the little jar. Um, but in real life, I I don't know what I collect in real life. I don't think I collect anything in the body. He doesn't think we all collect.

SPEAKER_04

He has and scissors and combs. Oh, yeah, and I find historical.

SPEAKER_01

You just buy the historical dog grooming stuff. I love it.

SPEAKER_05

Well, actually, that's more of a Ronnie thing. Okay. Um I love collecting stationary and notebooks and like pens and like envelopes. Do you use them?

SPEAKER_01

No. Because I find when I collect things, I'm like, I can't use this.

SPEAKER_00

Are you excited when the Japanese award stationary awards come out?

SPEAKER_04

He doesn't. I watch that shit. That's why I got my Japanese pencil. When you touch down, it turns it every time. So you never have to screw something. I love that shit. Sorry. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I like I can walk around like staples.

SPEAKER_04

Anything organization.

SPEAKER_00

So does your pencil like extend and turn?

SPEAKER_04

So the the tip turns. So every time you lift it, it's micro to extend more, right? So you never have to. So you get the thing. So that was on the stationary wards like a few years ago. And I actually have a whole Japanese like calligraphy or not calligraphy fountain pen set, but like a whole notebook satchel thing. Yeah. But it's in my drawer and I haven't touched it for two years because it's too pretty.

SPEAKER_00

Japanese are very serious. When they pick, when it, you know, when they want to get something done, they're like, we're gonna do that.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, when Ronnie ordered the Japanese everything, I was like, this is beautiful. Like it's all so beautiful.

SPEAKER_04

And like it's like leather browns, inserts, and you do inserts and they come out with special ones. They had a California version, it's like a notebook, and you put them in your version. You put them like in and out. So it's French fries, yeah, yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_03

California burritos with french fries and water. Why?

SPEAKER_01

Why do they always do that? California burritos, put French fries in it. And I'm like, we don't do that. We don't do that. Avocado, yes.

SPEAKER_02

French fries, no. I only like uh potatoes in my breakfast burritos. I don't even do that.

SPEAKER_00

I do like that, but I like it when it's fried. You know, the fried like crunchy, so it's like crispy on the outside. Me too.

SPEAKER_01

Was that everybody? Oh, Nathan, do you collect anything? I also didn't say anything. Trophies!

SPEAKER_05

Collect trophies!

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, yeah. Oh, ribbons. I like collecting trophies and ribbons. Yeah, and then uh that would be gross. He's rubbing that on his chin and say, uh, it stinks a little.

SPEAKER_01

Whose hands have been on that? I'm just kidding. I don't know.

SPEAKER_00

Um, I was gonna say memories. I like collecting memories of fun things. You know?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. That's cute. I have fishing stuff. You buy it. Way too much fishing stuff.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I don't realize how many trophies there are until I uh like until I think about it, and then I'm well I moved everybody's trophies to the other salon except for Jeanette, since we all work over there. So our main salon is just Nathan's trophies and Jeanette's, and that's it. And I think she has two.

SPEAKER_00

And Kat has some dog show, uh she has some big dog show stuff there. Yeah, but she has like the yeah, the crystal vase thing. Yeah, yeah. Whatever it's called.

SPEAKER_01

But I mean like the competition ones, yeah. So once we did that, I was like, Goblets and naked men. A lot of fucking drums. Goblets and naked men. Okay, cowboy. What do you currently collect? Because uh you you said what you used to collect.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. Um personally, I guess ribbons, but I've gotten to the point where they're just in bags.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Um, there's so many of them.

SPEAKER_01

We have a trash bag full of your ribbons at the salon. I know.

SPEAKER_05

A trash bag?

SPEAKER_01

Well, where else are we supposed to put them? Yeah, I have a lot of ribbons.

SPEAKER_04

Stored within. They're neatly folded into this nice trash bag. It's a plastic bag, not a plastic plastic bag.

SPEAKER_02

A decorative bag.

SPEAKER_00

Everything ends up eventually in a bag. In the closet of doom.

SPEAKER_02

We call it the closet of doom. Oh, the one behind the right there?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. It's embarrassed. The closet of doom. We call it the closet of doom.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, we all call it that.

SPEAKER_01

It's not a secret.

SPEAKER_02

We like organize it every couple months. Or somehow it very quickly gets back to chaos.

SPEAKER_01

I swear I'll come in and I'll open it, and I'm like, what the fuck? I just cleaned this.

SPEAKER_00

It's literally like you open it, and then it's like just a wall of stuff. And you like hope it doesn't like all and it's like throw it like the Tupperware.

SPEAKER_02

It's not bolding out the door, really. No, it's not. It's not, it's all it's kind of like a landslide like this.

SPEAKER_00

It did get to a point where the door didn't want to close.

SPEAKER_01

And then we organized it, yes. We collect crap. Just crap. It's well, it's tough because that's our only real storage in the building, really, other than the bathroom. But the bathroom also is.

SPEAKER_00

That closet is our jar of nails.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, there you go.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

It's got all of our decorations for all the holidays and like all of our equipment that we don't use, or you know, either it needs repair or it's waiting, or all of our extra bandanas, all of our extra leashes and collars people forget and never come back for. Yeah, we literally have a huge. Well, okay, some that there you go. There's a collection that we have. Like, I don't understand that. How do you bring your dog with something and then not take it back with you? Like, how do you not check your dog over and like you guys are missing something?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, their dogs, leashes and collars, huh?

SPEAKER_01

But it's only the two of them. So it's different.

SPEAKER_00

We have like a fucking big box of just leashes and collars. We used to have a lot of things.

SPEAKER_04

But we have little boxes that we put their thing in and then we can like write their names. Yeah. And we're going to do that. We have a board, but it's not big enough for all the dogs that come in.

SPEAKER_02

Well, and sometimes things fall or sometimes people also come in with so much shit. Yeah. They have like two collars and a harness and a gentle leader and a leash and a shirt. And a flea collar. Flea collar.

SPEAKER_01

And how come sometimes people don't, you'll be like, oh, what was your dog wearing today? And then they'll they'll like tell you a different color and you're searching everywhere, and you're like, I don't see it anywhere. And then like that's another thing when you do it. And then they're like, oh yeah, that one. And I'm like, that's not what you fucking described. Or the or they don't know. Or I'll say, like, oh, was like, did your dog have anything today? And then they'll be like, no. And then I'll bring them out the dog, and then they'll call later and be like, oh, I left the collar there. And I'm like, I fucking asked you. I literally asked you.

SPEAKER_02

I always say, Do they have a collar or leash or anything? You know, I don't say, Did they have anything? I said, Did they have a collar or leash? Well, I say, Do they have anything they were wearing today? Usually it's the husbands that pick up and you ask them what their dog was wearing, and they're like, uh Oh no, I'm just here to pick it up.

SPEAKER_05

Oh, straight men.

SPEAKER_00

Can you dog talk in a straight, like, I mean. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Like like deep? Yeah. Like a like a straight guy. Or just no, I feel like I I feel like no matter what I still sound a little gay. Yeah. Maybe a little. I don't know. Talk. Hold on. So you have to do that.

SPEAKER_00

I feel like my voice is high and I don't I and I don't know.

SPEAKER_05

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

You still sound gay.

SPEAKER_05

But it still sounds gay. Because I think I don't know how to do my mannerisms. I can't help it. Yeah, it's just mannerisms. No, I do I do sound gay.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah. But then harder, I'm like listening. Like, does he sound straight? And I'm like, no, gay.

SPEAKER_00

So what about my voice? Because when I hear my voice, I think it sounds high.

SPEAKER_01

Gay.

SPEAKER_05

I think, I think your voice is high, but it like no trace of gay at all.

SPEAKER_01

It sounds pretty straight.

SPEAKER_00

That's right, baby.

SPEAKER_05

Like there's no, there's no nothing.

SPEAKER_00

I like those new videos now where it's like, are you, would you rather be gay or gamer? Oh.

SPEAKER_04

And then everyone's saying gay.

SPEAKER_01

So funny. They just cut it off.

SPEAKER_03

Gay.

SPEAKER_01

And I'm like, how do they not realize what's happening? Dumb.

SPEAKER_02

Do we want to do more questions or move on?

SPEAKER_01

No, we shouldn't.

SPEAKER_05

I think we can move on now. Let's be honest. Most grooming smocks are made to be practical, but that doesn't mean they have to be boring. That's where Ladybird Line comes in. Their smocks and aprons are made with durable, water, and chemical resistant materials, while giving you flattering fits, fun patterns, and styles you'll actually want to wear. Whether you're grooming all day or heading to a show, Ladybirdline proves you don't have to choose between function and style. And don't forget, shipping is free on US orders of $75 or more. When you can recognize a design, that's Ladybirdline. Visit their website at www.ladybirdline.com. Alright, so we went camping. I I Ronnie and I came along to the Cut Above camping trip. Yeah. And that was so much fun.

SPEAKER_01

Our annual camping trip.

SPEAKER_00

We're going to have to revamp the name, I think.

SPEAKER_01

So this year you guys came, but then also our friends um Shane Dakota. Um they also came. Um and they own another salon too, La Flore. So like we had three salons there technically this year. So we're gonna just have to start expanding and adding salons camping trips. Yeah, but it was super fun. Um, it's like a four-hour drive. Yeah. Yeah. The Humboldt Humboldt Redwoods.

SPEAKER_05

It is it's so pretty. In Myers. Like the the first, like, first like two and a half hour drive for us was like and then we got then we got to the lake, and I was like, ooh, the lake's cool. A little green, but it was cool, clear lake. And then we got into the into the trees, and I was like, oh my god, this is awesome.

SPEAKER_00

All of a sudden you're in another world, right?

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, very cool.

SPEAKER_02

I think that's one of the amazing things about living where we do is how we can pretty much get to any climate or we can get to the mountains, we can get to the forest, the ocean, the um anything, desert, all within almost a half a day's drive.

SPEAKER_01

Well, so this was your guys' first time coming with us, and you're not generally a big camping person, so I was I was a little worried about it. You guys got there before us though, and it was the most interesting one we've ever done because there was bears there this year, and we've never had bears before.

SPEAKER_02

Ever, ever, ever had seen, heard, known of a bear in the area.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, when we first when we first got there, there was someone else taking up uh one of our spots. They were gonna leave soon, and they were like, just so you guys know, there was a bear sighting in these things yesterday or this that morning, I think. Yeah, and we we were like, okay, you know, like scary, but I mean you'd expect it, right? Because it's in the thing, but you guys have never seen them before.

SPEAKER_01

We never seen or heard. I mean, they have the bear boxes, you're always supposed to store your food, but we've never um heard of anything. And so then um one of the mornings, or the I think it was the last morning we were there, or was it the second morning? The second morning.

SPEAKER_05

It was the Sunday morning, I think.

SPEAKER_01

This the yes, the second morning we were there. Uh Kat and I got up early to cook, and like Nathan and the boys, some of the boys were out fishing already. And uh we heard the like somebody like banging loud, and it was like really early, and we're like, it has to be a bear. I'm like running to go see this bear. Such a big girl thing. I could just hear my boots like slapping. It's like I'm like, gotta go see this bear. Ronnie, he's like running out of his tent trying to get dressed. Putting his clothes on and trying to. I was like, oh my god.

SPEAKER_00

I'm sad I missed the bear. Well, and the titty slapping. And we're titties are slapping, Ronnie's balls are slapping.

SPEAKER_03

You guys are both just like the bear's like, what's happening?

SPEAKER_01

So we sadly at that point we could not see this bear, right? And um, because it was like up a hill, like in a campsite, and so we couldn't see it. And we didn't want to go into the campsite and get in trouble, right? And um, so me and Ronnie are like, maybe we'll see it. We're like trying to like wait. Ronnie's got a stick, and uh yeah, he he told he was very badass, told Juan, stay in the tent, don't leave the tent no matter what.

SPEAKER_00

That's manly.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, the protector. Yeah, and uh it's more important, girl. He can handle it.

SPEAKER_02

These two were chasing after the bear, and I stood by the camp because my kid was sleeping in a you know, a tent that's not gonna protect her from a bear.

SPEAKER_01

My kids were sleeping in a tent too, but I figured they'd be all right. No, Helios, to be fair, Helios was in there with them. I feel like if there was a bear coming, he would have done something. I went back and put pixel in there.

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't think I think she'd just be eaten by a bear.

SPEAKER_01

But he'd be full though. No, yeah, true.

SPEAKER_05

That was a good one.

SPEAKER_01

Um but um the freaking lady, the ranger, she shows up. I kid you this woman, she was like, you know, really tall, very like muscular woman. And she like comes out and she's like, is there a bear up in there? You know, and we're like, I think so. And she's like, I'm coming in. And she like goes up in there and she's like, All right, bear, you know, and she's like doing the whole thing freaking pingball gun. Yeah, and she's like chasing it through the woods and like she was chasing it for a while. It like went through, I think it went through the kids' campsite. Thankfully, it just bypassed them. Well, Denise on a weird hill. Yeah, Denise had said it ran by her tent.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, so I'm sure it went past my kids' tent and we went back down and scared it back towards our way, and then our campsite is up this little hill thing. So yeah, it was running that way and then past everybody's freaking shit.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, but so you know, like we go for this camp, we um like almost all of our employees came. Only one of ours didn't come because she was having Wirefox terrier puppies at home. But we during the day, we go to this like um river during the day that's like not far away. And um, we spend the days like swimming and fishing and having a good time, and then we come back to the camp. And um, so that second day, Juan stayed home.

SPEAKER_05

I I went the first day and I lasted like three hours at the water, and I was like, I'm going back. So then the second day I stayed, and that was the same morning as the bearing. So same day. I was laying in bed uh on the mattress, and then I hear like, and it was just me and Esmeralda was in her tent down the hill. And we were just laying there, and I heard like steps or like ruffle ruffling, and I was like, Are they back already? That's weird. So I opened like the zippy on the tent, and I saw the bear coming from it, it was like Drake's tent, going down to like the Austin's tent, and then it started coming to our like kitchen food area, and it tore down our garbage bag, started eating the garbage bag, drank the coffee. That was the other thing, and then the people came. There was like uh someone saw the bear and we're like honking at it, so it like ran up, it got scared, it ran up to next to my tent with him in it. And with me in it, and I was like, oh my god, oh my god. And then I'll I'll insert the videos here, but I love the videos. It was getting, I was like filming and it was getting like closer and closer to my tent, and then for a second, we like made eye contact. Me and the bear like looked at each other, and you see you'll hear in the video, and we'll go like, oh shit. Oh my god. Like and it was like walking towards me, and I and I anyway, I got really panicking. It was like getting really close, and then then I got I like backed up and I just fucking hissed as loud as I could and like shook the tent and the hip their bear ran away. But as Miralda at the bottom of the hill, oh, because she was like, Is it gone? It was like, no, it's next to me, and then she was recording from her tent, so she had she got the angle of me hissing and it running away. And it was like it was so scary, but afterward I felt so badass. Yeah, I think the whole time I was like, I fucking scared a bear away.

SPEAKER_01

I know, I was like, I wanted to scare a bear away. We wanted so badly to say we were all so sad.

SPEAKER_00

That was one of my like things. I was like, I really hope I get to scare a bear away. Yeah, I know.

SPEAKER_01

Juan got it. Well, and then we found out that it was in all of our other campsites.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, so because it came from over there, I told him, I was like, Raldo, let's just do a lap. Let's just go down everyone's campsite, just make sure everything's okay. So we went down to the first setup, was the home base where it was all like the kitchen, the food and stuff. So we went down there and the bear was there too. It drank a beer, it it like knocked over boxes. Go ahead.

SPEAKER_02

So, in all fairness, we locked all our food up in the thing, but we did not know we needed to lock beverages up.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, we it was a cooler. We didn't think like cans too. It was just cans, so we didn't think like they'd be like, pfft, smells like beer. You know what I mean? Like, I guess this is a teenage fucking bear.

SPEAKER_02

Do you have a picture of the picture of the well I have a video on pictures of it too?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, Juan was gonna throw it away, and I was like, No, I'm saying it's actually on my shelf right now.

SPEAKER_01

Well, he didn't throw it away, he set it aside.

SPEAKER_00

It's got two big teeth marks in it.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I was like, Nathan's gonna want to keep this. I'm gonna leave this. I cleaned up everything else, but I left the beer. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Well, I mean, he even went through stuff that had no food in it because we had like big um, not Tupperware, that's not the like the but like the big storage bins. Oh utensils and shit. Yeah, they just had like utensils and plates and like pans, and he was ripping through everything. They were clean ones too. Yeah, they were clean, not dirty. Yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So like he ripped through because he knows there's food in containers. So that's the problem, is like the lady was like, hey, like if this bear keeps being successful, we're gonna have to kill it. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Which sucks. So we felt bad. She yelled at us.

SPEAKER_05

When me and Esmeralda went down there to like look at the damage, we were like cleaning up a little bit, and then I was like, wait, what if it comes back? And we're like downhill. And I was like, we'll come back later. So we like left, and then once Ivan and and Ronnie came back, then we went back to like clean us up.

SPEAKER_01

But it was super fun though. It was really fun, it was a really fun trip. I'm really glad that you guys came. We always have a really good time, but it definitely made it like so much more enjoyable to have extra people that we love so much.

SPEAKER_05

I counted my mosquito bites.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, did you? Oh no, did it? 120. 120.

SPEAKER_05

120? No. 30. 30.

SPEAKER_01

10.

SPEAKER_05

42. Jesus! 42 mosquito bites. I got like I had some on my forehead. So did you not get itchy? Or do you just ignore it? I was itchy, like bad.

SPEAKER_01

That's crazy.

SPEAKER_05

But after a few days of being home, they all kind of went away. I still have like you could still see some of the remnants of them. 42.

SPEAKER_01

I only got like three.

SPEAKER_05

And that was me.

SPEAKER_00

I got bit covering.

SPEAKER_02

Some people are more receptive to sweet. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I felt like the mosquitoes were really aggressive this year. Like you would spray yourself with the hard shit, and then they would immediately be like, I'm coming in. The mosquitoes are like, you know, soft and but we went like a month later than we normally do.

SPEAKER_02

But still, like they have more time to hatch an mature.

SPEAKER_03

They're like tought.

SPEAKER_01

We'll get to it, but like when we went to Canada right after the camping trip, and we were there was mosquitoes there too, but they were not nearly as aggressive or as bad. Those Canadian mosquitoes are respectful.

SPEAKER_00

No. Remember when we were coming out of dinner? We were at this restaurant. Oh, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

No, they're fast as fuck.

SPEAKER_00

And like I'm just we are walking out of the restaurant, and I'm literally they're just landing on me as I'm walking to the car.

SPEAKER_01

But they're fast, they're like gone. Like so fast. But we weren't sprayed. When we were leaving restaurants, we weren't sprayed down. That wasn't even in Banff. That was like in Red Deer.

SPEAKER_05

You know, I saw you spraying all over your clothes and stuff at camp, and I was like, that's kind of weird. Why is she spraying her clothes? But then I got mosquito bites through my clothes. I don't play around.

SPEAKER_02

I wear the patches, the I spray, and I put uh like the bands on. Yeah, I do like everything.

SPEAKER_00

The bands are Katie was reading the instructions from the band. And it's like it's like put up the three bands per arm. And then it's like replace bands every two hours. I'm like, what the fuck?

SPEAKER_01

It's if you read the instructions, it says put three bands on per exposed limb. So not even just arms, legs as well. And then it says you have to redo them every two hours. So I was like, okay, these are fucking pointless.

SPEAKER_00

So you need like 150 bands per night.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, they smell hella bad. Like, give me a headache. Oh, I like them. I was too strong. It was it gave me a headache real quick.

SPEAKER_00

You're like just garbage maxing.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, I only put it on because Athena's like, here, you need one. I was like, okay. You're like, and I was like, after 30 minutes, I was like, I can't, girl.

SPEAKER_00

It does make the kids feel better. Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah. I think they just like it because it's like colorful braces. Exactly, exactly. And they're like, oh, it smells like shit, but oh well.

SPEAKER_05

My my algorithm is all on everywhere. It's all camping. YouTube, TikTok, Instagram, every it's all camping tips and stuff. There's this one that was, it was like, I guess, a Johnson ⁇ Johnson baby lotion. It's like uh lavender or aloe or something that mosquitoes hate it. They're like, instead of spraying off all over, you get this like baby lotion. So I'm gonna do that next time.

SPEAKER_03

So you will come again.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah, I will. I will, I will. I had a lot of fun. It was it was really hot for like a few hours of each day. Yeah. So those hours, that's why I was like, I'm gonna just stay in the tent during these times and just be naked under a fan and just like live. I just and then and then afterward, then I'm then I'm good.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Oh, and we the new way to down to the water is like way easier. Like way, way easier. I don't know why I've never I've been going to that place. I've been going to this place for like a lifetime. Using the same bootsy ass trail.

SPEAKER_04

That's literally this this trail, that's that trail. Yeah. It's literally right there.

SPEAKER_00

And the other one, you you just walk up a hill a little bit and then down the hill, and it's like there's no treacherous rocks or fucking Yeah. Well, when you're going the one trail, you're literally like risking your life as you walk.

SPEAKER_01

I I blame your family.

SPEAKER_00

I had to crawl.

unknown

Did you?

SPEAKER_00

It was freaky up there.

SPEAKER_05

You're like, just like the whole rock, like that section. Oh, it was like hands and feet, just like well, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I remember like 20 years ago, it was like they had like built it to be steps.

SPEAKER_01

It wasn't as bad, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

So it was actually nicer and it was steps and like it was pretty. Because you know how sections of it are like steps kinda. Yeah, yeah. It used to, but I I don't know if people just get in there and fuck it up or like well, yeah.

SPEAKER_01

I was gonna say because your family was the one who took us to this campsite originally a long time ago. And so that was the way they took us. So we always just followed the path they took us. Because why would we think of there was another, you know?

SPEAKER_00

I mean significantly better. Yeah, and we set up uh the second day we just set up all the chairs and the the canopy, the canopy and stuff in the water.

SPEAKER_01

That was nice.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, so it was 90 degrees out, but like when your feet are in the cre in the water in the river, like you're like, who cares? Yeah, it feels you feel good.

SPEAKER_05

I re I really liked usually when I go to water features of sorts, there's always so many people. Yeah, and this river was like there was people, but it was never like overcrowded, it was like calm, it was nice, and it was pretty dead the next day.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, there was like there was even less a third or a fourth of the people. Oh, okay, yeah. Nice. So we basically had it to ourselves. But yeah, I mean, I was so dialed in the fishing that like when you guys were like, there's a bear at the tent, I was like, I was like, but this tiny little fish might bite right now. I know.

SPEAKER_04

So anyway, there was no one that uh everyone you cared about was at the river, so it didn't matter to you.

SPEAKER_02

Ronnie wasn't in the morning in the morning when they were off fishing in the morning.

SPEAKER_00

That's when but the bear, I know the bear's not gonna hurt nobody.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, he actually he called me. It was weird. After we ran to go try and see the bear, he calls me and he's like, Is there a bear at the campsite? And I was like, How the fuck did you know?

SPEAKER_04

Like because Ivan called Esmeralda called Ivan, and Ivan told him he felt it. He felt it. I was like, I thought he could hear the Ivan calls Esmeralda right away.

SPEAKER_00

So I was like, shit, we lost. I like my first thought was like, damn, I wanted to see the bear because I missed the bear last time fishing. I always miss the bear.

SPEAKER_01

What happened in Calvin? No, that was in Tahoe.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, in Tahoe, I missed the bear because I was fishing.

SPEAKER_01

You always miss bears.

SPEAKER_00

There was like a family of bears playing in the backyard of the house we were renting.

SPEAKER_02

So anyway, one thing I do have to say about the camp trip that I thought was amazing was Ronnie's charcuterie. It was like the prettiest camping setup I've ever seen. Did you take pictures of it? I don't think so. I took a few, but like a close-up of everything, you know, before it was touched.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah, that was super fun. I I really we've seen like the savory s'mores. And I keep uh every time we'd be like, we gotta do that, and then we'd forget. So, but you did a beautiful spread. It was very well put together, very delicious.

SPEAKER_00

Way better than regular sores.

SPEAKER_01

How much cheese did you end up taking home and eating?

SPEAKER_04

Oh, a shit ton. I've I've just got to be cheese. We've been eating charcuterie all week.

SPEAKER_01

You were so worried about like not having enough.

SPEAKER_00

Better to have too much than too.

SPEAKER_04

I always uh yeah, I there was way, yeah, too much of everything. But it was good because I was eating charcuterie for the rest of the week, so I was happy about it.

SPEAKER_05

He started instead of well, he was doing savory s'mores, but like in the toaster oven. Oh, so he would get the crackers and then put like the cheese and meat in the cheese and then toast it in the oven so it would like melt and then that was our lunch for like a week.

SPEAKER_04

Oh, and then I had hella the leftover stuff for the pizza things that I did. Oh, and I did those oven oven, they were hella good. On the little knots, we did the little knots. That stuff, just cheese and the pepperone next year. Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Something I do have to plan for better is I was already pretty full because we'd eaten dinner in like maybe an hour or two before. And so I only ate like one thing. I wanted to eat more, but I didn't roast it long enough. Me neither. And I was like, oh, it's hard to hold it over the fire.

SPEAKER_04

I didn't get longer ones because I got the wood ones because I was like, oh, I don't want to get metal ones because I don't know how it's gonna be. And then you're putting your I know it's like marshmallows, but what if like yeah, so it was the first year now we know.

SPEAKER_00

Should we try a new place though? Maybe we'll should we try Tahoe? The thing I worry about though is shade because I've been to a couple camping places that were like, oh, this place is so great, and you get there and you're just basically camping on dirt in the sun. Yeah, that's it. And I'm like, yeah, it was just like a not a very fun experience, you know. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

I mean, I see it'd be cool to camp next to a water feature. Yeah. Like on the way.

SPEAKER_00

I wonder, Pablo, how how close can you get? I think you can there's campsites that are like right on the water.

SPEAKER_04

There's lakeside, there's lakeside camp. There's this one old lady now that pops up for me, and she does solo camping. Because I get all these camping stuff now.

SPEAKER_00

My algorithm's just so if you guys find something really good, send it to me, and we'll like well, let's pick a different place, you know?

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, I'm down.

SPEAKER_00

Imagine catching some huge lake trout, too. Oh, there you go.

SPEAKER_02

Nathan's like, I want bigger fish.

SPEAKER_03

That's whoever the fish are.

SPEAKER_01

Anyway.

SPEAKER_05

Pick me to your fish. So anyway, camping was really fun.

SPEAKER_01

It was great. It was a lot of fun. So I look forward to our annual camping.

SPEAKER_04

I caught a fish. Oh, yeah. With the little fly thing that was fun. I love really like that little fly thing. Yeah, we did Helligade. I love when Nathan's fish goes. Kathleen caught a big ass fish on that thing.

SPEAKER_05

Nathan lost his phone.

SPEAKER_01

Oh yeah, Nathan lost his phone. We should put that video on it. Drake caught it. Drake is dived down and found it. He lost his glasses again and found those. He was easy to go good at it.

SPEAKER_04

I lost my watershoe and Drake got it for me too. I was like, thank you, Drake. He's a mermaid. Whatever.

SPEAKER_00

We found a new swing because well, there's always one swing, but we found another swing that swings into the river. And this one, we're like doing tricks on it. Me and um pause. Me, Owen, and Drake, and like I did one hand. I swung one-handed and I'm holding my phone with the other. And like the rope got caught into my it like swung up into my crotch. And then when I let go, it like fucking. I'm so grateful it didn't grab like fucking grip onto my junk because it literally would have ripped my shit off. Right? Because it went in between my legs and like smashed up against my thighs super hard. And like I'm still bruised down there. But I was like, and I like fucking dropped my phone when I hit the water because it hurts so bad. And I was right before I swung, I was like, watch, I'm gonna drop my phone like an idiot. And then I go swing and immediately drop my phone like an idiot. And it's like third, it's like 15 feet down, and uh the water was murky, so I was like, okay, it's gone, right? It's fucking gone forever. And Drake went and he dove down there with some goggles. I couldn't believe. found it and he found it. It was recorded. It recorded the whole thing. Have a recording of me going like, yeah, when you're recording, it doesn't even look that high. One-handed? And then like the phone just like sinking.

SPEAKER_02

But it fell face down, I'm very upset. That would have been so cool. That would have been way cooler if you're going to be able to do that.

SPEAKER_00

15-minute recording of like a little tiny little bugs moving around and then and then him get it. And we all freak out when we pull it out.

SPEAKER_01

That's cool. That's cool.

SPEAKER_00

Oh and then we also Oh this isn't recording by the way because like there's no card in it.

SPEAKER_01

Oh well we have this one. Okay. Um so we were also celebrating Nathan's 40th birthday. Oh man so we did celebrate that at camping cat got him a lot of um old old person decorations.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you cat thank you.

SPEAKER_02

Speaking of that I still have your card from my mom in my car and your present at home.

unknown

Okay.

SPEAKER_00

And then um so we maybe like some depens or something.

SPEAKER_01

Probably funny I'll go buy some and add them to uh so we went camping, got home unpacked our truck of all of the camping stuff and then repacked for a trip to Canada and left the next morning. So we had a very tight schedule. So we um flew up to Masterground Canada and we spent the first couple days in Banff and everybody had told us like it is so beautiful up there. You're like and they were not wrong. It is incredibly beautiful in Banff we stayed in this like adorable little like cabin we saw like a bear and Nathan all the bears. Yeah we did see a bear in person.

SPEAKER_00

So we did see one but we didn't scare him uh because he was just doing his thing eating eating berries the berries are like everywhere and this bear is just like he's gobbling these berries like crazy we're just like there's like a bunch of cars just watching him we're all like and he's just over there just like he's getting ready for hibernation's coming yeah so that was really cool and we uh we walked over 10 miles a day all right so I was like I'm gonna fish and Katie was like yeah whatever you want and I was like I want to I because I it's his 40th birthday how am I gonna say no my new fishing hobby is fly fishing right because it's like to me fly fishing is like fish fishing maxing. You know what I mean? It's like the most technical version of fishing in my mind. So um I'm like I'm gonna go to a fly shop because I don't want to go I don't know shit. And so and they'll teach they'll tell me where to go. And he did he pulled out a map and was like go to this lake. Right? Boom lake boom lake. And we're like all right we get there and it's like an hour and a half hike in up in and he goes this is the he's told us this is the flattest one. Bring stuff we know we brought equipment we put out a couple things but fly rods are generally like pretty collapsible um so I just needed a leader and some nymphs some like they're like little tiny flies. Like the flies are literally like they're adorable. It's like a centimeter like a couple centimeters big the hooks are so tiny. And um we hike up in there and it's what was it three and a half miles in like up like this mountain. And we're climbing and this is the the the most flattest one he told us. Just you two? Just the two of us yeah and we get there and the water is so in bamp the water is really turquoise blue. Like you look at the water. And it's the bluest water you've ever seen because the way the glacier pulverizes the rock it like mixes in and the way it reflects turquoise. It's crazy so you can't see that deep into it but it's like so vividly vividly blue. But this this alpine lake or whatever you want to call it um the water is crystal clear like crystal crystal clear like you could see 40 feet into the water the logs look like they're right in front of you. They're just so crystal clear and you can just see the fish swimming everywhere. Nice. And so I just spent we spent two hours just catching these fish on the fly you'd put the fly on the water and you'd literally just see a fish come up from the bottom boom like see it. And it was it was one of the we caught maybe 20 fish that day over two hours and it was like I don't know magical yeah I can't explain it.

SPEAKER_01

It was like the fucking coolest thing this was all on your actual birthday this was the we went to like boom the day before boom like the day before his birthday and um of course and I was like some people fishermen right will never fucking have a day like that.

SPEAKER_00

You know and I and that bummed me out that's what I was thinking I was like I'm so grateful for this because like you know a lot of times you go and you fish you catch one fish and you're so happy I was I'm we're out there just oh it was amazing.

SPEAKER_01

We caught so many fish yeah and then uh there was another there was other people eventually showed up and this one girl was like a swimmer she was like from Switzerland I think she was German she was from Switzerland and she just starts like taking her clothes off and I'm like uh what is she doing? You're like she had a bathing suit on but then she just jumps in the water and starts swimming. And this is glacier water like we had touched it a few times and then she was like it's so refreshing and like somebody else had gotten in and Nathan was like that's it I'm getting in well no I jumped in the water because it just I I don't know like I didn't think of getting in the water because it was so cold I thought like it just seemed ridiculous. I didn't know anybody swam in did you jump on your tonies?

SPEAKER_00

Yeah I just stripped down to my underwear I took a video of him and uh but so I dive down and as soon as my like face goes under the water like I had a little fucking freak out. Oh shit because it was so cold it was so cold and my face you could see it on my face I'm like oh I gotta get out now and I go immediately get out because you have a towel or anything no an hour very name then hypothermia so it was warm the the it was like it was like 60 something degrees out up there. We'll say we'll show you all the videos and um but so the next day Katie's like she's whooped she started her period okay you were tired too I wasn't the only one who was tired. Are you gonna yell at me again right now for this or what? Yes so we we get up to this other lake right because we're just doing like a lake tour I read on the sign that the best fishing is at this upper lake and I'm looking at the sign and it's like Agnes yeah it's like oh it's an hour and a half climb up going up and it's even more steep than the first one and I'm like oh Katie uh we don't want to do that right and I was like I want to do it and she's like well I mean she didn't want to do it but I was like it's my birthday so we're doing it and like we could literally go up I mean it must have been a couple thousand feet straight up like it was it was brutal. But once we get up there's this waterfall right this huge waterfall is coming down super beautiful the lake there's barely anybody up there so I'm fly fishing on this lake and um it starts raining and I'm wearing I think what I'm wearing right now so I'm wearing this and like my shorts and I'm just like up there fucking Canada maxing and it was just the rain just made it even better because the fish were still biting it was raining just enough to be like I don't know to just to add to the magic of it.

SPEAKER_01

And it was this fucking incredible thank you Katie it was so it was it was not our plan to go do this right because on Nathan's birthday was the day we had to check out of our room or of our little cabin and we needed to drive to Red Deer for the judges meeting for the competition right and so like I was like oh we have this like window to do things in Banf still before we need to leave so we're like oh let's go see like Louise everybody says that's like you gotta go see it. So then when we get there I'm wearing I'm sure everybody's seen me in my purple ruffle skirt I'm wearing my purple ruffle skirt and a black sports bra. That's it because I think we're just doing this and we're gonna see this lake and then we're gonna drive back to Red Deer. And then we see the thing and he's like well do we have time and I like look and I'm like I mean it's gonna be tight but yeah like you can spend like a half an hour fishing up there when we get up there if it takes us as long as it says it's gonna take us. And uh he's like let's do it and I'm like fuck I just started my period so I'm like cramping I'm not you know so like we hike all the way up and it was great but then it starts raining and when he says raining I mean like we were soaked. We didn't bring jackets we didn't bring umbrellas we didn't I'm walking down the like thing miles and miles miles down just like shivering holding my arms like my arms are in like my and Nathan can't like I'm walking down I'm so fucking happy I'm like he can't wipe the smile off his face every person that stops to talk to him he's like the fishing is amazing up there.

SPEAKER_00

I got 20 fish and like and I'm guys are walking up the hill in the rain and they're like I can't believe I didn't bring my fly rod yeah they're all and I'm like yeah dude you just spent all day hiking up here for nothing and for fucking nothing for the biggest fishing ever is up there and you you're fucking it right now.

SPEAKER_01

It was very fun. I'm not saying I didn't enjoy myself but it was um it was cold by the end and I was literally soaked like to the bone um but it was very fun and the fish were beautiful. I was very happy for you. Yeah he was a little bit too like I just turned 40 and I feel like we have to do this because we have guys we have to prove that I'm not that I'm not too old to do it. You know what I mean? Like and so I was like fine I was like you know babe I might it might not be my perfect idea of what to do today but I'll follow you wherever you go. So if you want me to walk three hours today I'll do it. You know like it is what it is.

SPEAKER_00

It didn't work out did you uh make whoopee in the woods I did give him a blowjob on the way down I knew it's like that had to be a thing I automatically thought that time I didn't even ask because I didn't actually I take it back it was the first day because the first day was more secluded I gave him a blowjob on the car on the drive to Red Deer the on his birthday so giving happy birthday to you birthday you know what's funny is we're like on the trail and like afterwards right and I'm like you know like cleaning myself cleaning himself up right and I'm like and literally I look up and there's like a two women just walking by I'm like he was behind me a little bit and I was facing the trail and I was like wiping my hands off and I so I don't think they saw him like because he was still standing somewhat behind me.

SPEAKER_01

So I think if anything they thought he was like peeing and that he was cleaning himself up from peeing. Like I don't think they knew.

SPEAKER_00

Well Katie's off yeah because I'm like I'm like wiping my hands off another job well done yeah yeah well it was fucking quick too because you know like you know sometimes the like are we gonna get caught? Yeah the adrenaline anyway I hope Barbara's listening to this yeah yeah thank you Barb for the amazing magical trick um no but Massagroom Canada was incredible um we did one judging assignment and three teaching assignments there I think more Americans should go to that show because it was actually like it's probably one of my favorite shows ever now it was so fun it was the people were so cool the classes were all great or the uh I mean the the education was great but I mean when I say classes I mean like the competition classes oh the competition yeah those were great too and the prizes are incredible there so they first timer prize so they do it's not so you know how here we have like best first timer for each category and then somebody wins best first timer in first show um they have a whole best first timer category so you compete in that and it's the first competition of the weekend but the winner wins a trip to Gromania.

SPEAKER_01

Wow they win the flight the hotel the like I think the entrance timer best first timer so like um there was a girl that was there from Spain she took one of our classes last year that we did in Spain before Gromania last year and she was at at Master Groom Canada and we're like girl what are you doing here and she was like I won best first timer at Gromania and the prize for that is to go to Master Groom Canada. So she won a trip to Master Groom Canada and we're like oh and then that so I was like I'm gonna bring all my baby my baby groomers here and enter them in best first timer because that's so cool.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah so if you're thinking about competing I'm not a first timer. Yeah if you're if you're thinking about competing and you haven't and you're a first timer definitely go to Master Groom Canada.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah it's a it's a very well run show Barbara puts on an incredible show um she's you know like the like I said the education was great the competition itself was great the prizes were great all of the you know like it's just really really well done they have alcohol during the day a bar open all day I was gonna see by say seeing all the videos and like people's stories this year and last year I I like that Master Groom Canada doesn't take itself too seriously.

SPEAKER_05

No it doesn't more like social, more fun, more laid back and people like it looks like the judges are having way more fun. Way fun yeah like it just it looks like a good time.

SPEAKER_01

It's a really good time. Yeah they do this like dual dual competition. So it's we do a similar one here in America but it was really fun and like they basically like everybody that's competing brings alcohol and so the judges just get drunk which is awesome. And um yeah if you're a judge and um so it was it was you know like yeah and then we had like a dinner and at the dinner we raised money for groom team Canada. So Nathan got pied in the face.

SPEAKER_00

Of course by Nadia by Nadia.

SPEAKER_01

She could have done a better job pieing you know she was being a first he was the first one and so originally they said you needed to throw it from far away. Okay. And so then it was like then after that because Sue and Jay pie started people doing full on pie in the face.

SPEAKER_00

Nadia got it the worst. Nadia got it the worst put it on her face and went up her hair they just went all up her nose all into her hair and like you could tell she was fucking pissed.

SPEAKER_02

You know I see all your videos and stuff makes me want to go. I think I might try to leave is it always the same time of year?

SPEAKER_01

I believe so yeah it's a really fun show. So like any Americans that are listening to this like I really really do recommend it. It's a super fun show and Canada is really fun. We stayed at a casino uh that was just down the street so we gambled and like it was it was a lot of fun.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah same location every year?

SPEAKER_00

This was a new location I believe uh but I think they are uh they're planning to do the same location because the location is good it was really fun a lot of the locals are like what are you guys doing here but yeah they're like you came to Red Deer and we're like this is sick what are you talking about?

SPEAKER_01

Yeah a casino a nice place to fucking do your show yeah so it was really and they do jackpot there and they do like so it's they do a lot of categories. Um we just had to do our camping trip earlier so they're not back to back maybe we'll do camping up in Canada but then they also they also did cat competition oh they I totally forgot so they did a cat lion trim competition and then they did a cat creative so it was really cool I didn't one girl used the same cat she just like put a line trim and then she's like her next one she did that cat again and did it what she just paint on it or something basically no I mean um she put like she made it more like um like a dinosaur she put like the pattern on it and then I didn't judge that we didn't judge that class we didn't judge that class yeah that's it I think we were teaching and it was done already my cats need to settle down for a couple years and then I will try to use some in grooming I got them to try to use in creative and stuff but they're wild but they're crazy.

SPEAKER_02

So they need to settle the fuck down. Yeah maybe when they're like five or six I can do it.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah I thought it was really cool though that they did a cat competition. Yeah that is cool and then and like I said and then the best first timer because you could do anything you could do breed cut you could do anything regular yeah Asian fusion regular pet trim the actually the girl who won I think hers was um like a it was like short body flared legs but it was adorable like she did a really good job beautiful round face like so do you think it's drivable um for us yes you could it would be a long drive but yes drivable because I was thinking about like dogs and stuff because it like what is it like to get dogs into Canada? It was a two and a half hour flight for us. So I mean I feel like drivable yeah I don't know I mean I'm sure we could ask our Canadian friends they would know how difficult it is to bring dogs back and forth.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah so well let's see we'll look it up right now just uh I'm curious Red Deer Alberta whenever you I so I didn't know that Banff existed until you guys started talking about it and it reminds me of in college uh we used to say we used to call we used to call people BAMFs uh bitch ass motherfuckers oh so whenever you say like BAMF BAMF I just think of bitch ass motherfuckers well it's funny after they started talking about BAMF uh I start I started getting uh this guy on my reels of uh he does like surprise wedding like proposals like in front of like this really pretty spot where I was like it's really pretty there.

SPEAKER_01

Okay maybe not it's uh 22 hour drive that's drivable too it's drivable it is drivable but I'm just saying like it's longer than I thought. Anyway so it was great if you've ever wondered or thought like should I go I recommend it. I think it's a great show.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah I want to go I've never been in Canada.

SPEAKER_00

Well I love I've crossed the Macnow Bridge to me Canada is um they're just they're I don't know to me they're like just like us you know they're we're one and the same they are human no I mean like when you go to Europe when you go to Europe you could like they're Europeans. Yeah right to me when I go to Canada they're Americans. I mean and I mean that in the sense is not like US but they're they're North Americans right so they're like they're literally like just like someone you'd meet next door like they're not yeah it's not very different.

SPEAKER_01

Except for they do things in English and French. So like I hear it's everything's English and Spanish there is yeah which like I don't know I didn't hear a single person speak French but I don't I did oh you did yeah uh French stuff is more like East Coast yeah yeah there was something else there was um a couple that came up and talked to us that were from um Quebec and they they um didn't speak I wonder what their French sounds like do you think it sounds like Canadian accent French?

SPEAKER_04

Probably there's a different thing on it I think because we watch Canada can' Canada's drag race and they have girls from Quebec Montreal like all the Vanguard and they sound French but they sound French some of them like it it goes back and forth like Spanglish and some of them are more English. When they when they speak English they have a French accent interest yeah yeah interesting but then some of them sound like super French when they're only doing French things and then go right back to sounding like normal like you know but how do you think they sound to French people?

SPEAKER_05

I don't know because like my Spanish is different than like the Spanish in Mexico and they'll be able to tell like oh he's a he's a gringo Mexican you know like they'll be able to tell right away anything else for MasterGroom yeah no that was no it was incredible Americans should go.

SPEAKER_00

SPEAKER_02

I don't know there's so many.

SPEAKER_05

Okay I think we'll go down the line yeah okay well okay I want to you start I wouldn't say it's not really a memory but like my favorite thing about sometimes I occasionally go and like skip through our first episode. Yeah and just like seeing our well our growth in like production and like editing and our our comfort level too but just like going back and like seeing how excited we we were and like we were like you can tell we're a little nervous and we were like figuring things out and stuff. And just like seeing the growth from the first one to like now is like it makes me really proud of like what we've done and what we've accomplished and stuff. And that's like one of my favorite things.

SPEAKER_03

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Uh is just like we just like because we've always we met at a at a workshop Trying to be better groomers and but you know, so it's just like everything we do together, we just like elevate each other. Yeah, and that's just it's my favorite thing.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, it's not really like a memory, but you know, I was gonna say that I can't there's not a moment, you know, that I can pinpoint.

SPEAKER_05

So go ahead.

SPEAKER_01

No, I thought we're going down the line. Oh, well, you started it. He went and then you said same thing. Which way we're going. So I just assumed we were doing this. Okay. Because you went after him. Okay. The voice, yeah. Okay, sorry.

SPEAKER_02

Anyways, I would say the same. I don't have a particular memory that really stands out because like all our it's just the way we've grown together and we've gotten more and more close. Um it's funny, I went back and watched a few episodes recently, and I was like, I just seeing myself so differently now and our set so differently. I was thinking about that earlier when I stopped at the shop and I was like, oh, I remember when we had to come and move everything out of the room and set up the tables and do all this. And I was just thinking about, you know, how we started at the shop and now how we have this glorious studio. And it's just the growth we've had is amazing. Um yeah, personally, mentally, you know, groomers, everything. It's just it all makes me want to cry almost.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. So my turn? Yeah. That was nice. But so mine is like, I have I have a certain sequence of memories that I think of when I think of the podcast. And one of it starts off with when we're at your house. Uh-huh. Remember, I remember we're having this conversation in your living room, and I'm like, Well, why don't we just do it? Right? And I'm like, We could just like do it. And we're like, and you're like, Well, we could, and we're just kicking it around, and we're like, Well, what's stopping us? Yeah. Right?

SPEAKER_01

And we're there's definitely a lot of like we're like, should we show it? We're like, we should just buy it.

SPEAKER_00

We should just buy, and then we like we buy them, and then we're like, okay, well, are we still and we just like start buying things? You buy this and you buy that. Yeah, and next thing you know, like um, we're doing it, and I remember thinking, like, we're our conversation, we're like, well, whatever we do, it's gotta be, we gotta do it to our best ability. Yeah, and we gotta make sure our production is good. We gotta make sure that it's entertaining, number one. Yeah, and then and then it leading up to the first Barclay nominations and and the first Barclay award, that was like the like the crescendo, like, oh fuck, wolf, we did it. We're at dinner, we're all dressed up at dinner, you know, and like um they announce us and everyone cheers, and it's like, oh shit, like everyone knows who we are, and then that that's it. We did it. That was our goal.

SPEAKER_01

We achieved our goal. Like, that was like the whole yeah, our first part of the thing.

SPEAKER_00

We set all these goals and then we like smashed everyone. We're like boom, boom, boom, boom, right? Yeah, and we and like we didn't compromise, and like the outcome. We even got like that's just to me, this goes to show you if you push yourself out of your comfort zone and you work diligently and you put forward is a hundred percent, like you could do things.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, whatever you put your mind to, yeah.

SPEAKER_00

I think what made this work is we have a group of us all relying on each other rather than like we all have different strengths too.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Kind of going before before you go, when you were saying like we wanted a star strong from the start. I don't know if we've ever like mentioned this before, but we had uh one uh our first filming, we filmed a couple episodes, and as I was editing it, I was like, this sucks.

SPEAKER_01

I forgot about that. Do you remember? I remember.

SPEAKER_05

So maybe you should put it out.

SPEAKER_04

And then remember I was in those ones and I was like, I know. Yes, that's right.

SPEAKER_05

So we recorded our first very first time. I did think we did four episodes the first time because we wanted to have like four ready to go before we launched, just to make sure we like it. Ronnie was originally the pictures of us of us on like our photo shoot, Ronnie was in all of them because he was gonna be on it anyway. So we recorded four episodes and I was editing it and it just felt boring. And then I and I was like editing, I spent like a a good a few days editing it, and I just texted everybody. I was like, hey guys, can we just like scrap these four episodes and just like start over? Because if we're gonna do something, I want it to be strong, I want it to be right.

SPEAKER_01

You've always you've come to us multiple times and been like, you know what, guys, like I've I've been editing this and I think like XYZ, and we're always like, we 100% trust you. If you say it's no good, let's redo it.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah, well, sometimes we push ourselves, you know, we get tired and too hard. We just start our quality starts going down. Our energy. Our energy, yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah. Um, so yeah. So anyway, I just remembered that when you said that.

SPEAKER_02

I totally forgot we did that. We also lost episode. There was another set, but we were all like we were just all like mentally. I think that's right. And that's when we started doing breaks because we were mentally burnt out. We were like on the point of crying in some of them because we were just so like we were just tired, but we didn't want to let our fans.

SPEAKER_00

We're like, we should do, we should do uh um.

SPEAKER_05

I remember we were doing the episode on burnout, and we're like, we were still did we release that one? No, we don't think so.

SPEAKER_02

I think that was the one we were like, we were like almost like I was almost crying in one of us. We were talking about burnt out. We were talking about burnout and how depressed we were basically.

SPEAKER_05

Let's just not air this. That's so we did see, so when wherever we put things forward, we try our best. And if we can fix it, we do.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah. Also, there's another thing that's one of my favorite things, and it's like your transformation cat. Like, I but I don't notice it until eating apples. I don't notice it until I see you.

SPEAKER_01

An old photo, yeah. But then we remind you.

SPEAKER_00

But you know, when it's happening in when it's happening, I see cat every single day.

SPEAKER_02

Well, it's like watching someone grow up.

SPEAKER_00

So you still look the same to me, but then when I see pictures of you from last year, I'm like, what the fuck? Yeah, we don't know. Like you look like a like literally look like a different fucking person.

SPEAKER_02

Well, I've lost an Ashley.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, plus that's crazy. I've lost an Ashley plus 20 pounds.

SPEAKER_05

I want to lose an Ashley.

SPEAKER_01

That's I I do agree with Nathan. That is that is one of the big things. Like I agree because we see you every day. I'm like, that's just cat. And then all an old photo will pop up on my thing, and then I'm like, holy shit. So I that is definitely one of my like top things.

SPEAKER_02

Um well, it's funny because um people are like, oh, like people don't see me a lot and stuff, right?

SPEAKER_00

And uh, who are you?

SPEAKER_02

No, I don't really get any of that. But my clients say it to me a lot. They're like, stop, you know, you're gonna lose yourself, basically. And I was like, since the last time you saw me a month ago, I haven't lost, I've lost maybe a pound. So it's not like yeah. Um, but I uh I was gonna do a post about my weight loss and stuff, and then I was like, nah, it doesn't feel it feels weird, you know. But I had made this because I recently got rid of all my clothes. And like, I mean, I had like 10 garbage bags full, and I'm like donated.

SPEAKER_00

Maybe I'll keep them just in case.

SPEAKER_02

No, I didn't say that. But I made this picture and it was us at Disneyland, and then I found the same exact outfit and I posted. Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, you posted that, yeah.

SPEAKER_02

I didn't post it.

SPEAKER_01

No, I swear I saw it. I showed you I showed it to you.

SPEAKER_02

I sent it to you guys, but I never posted it. Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_03

I was like, I've seen it.

SPEAKER_00

The private group that no one can ever have access to. Yeah. Yeah.

SPEAKER_01

If any of us dies, you have to like crush that phone.

SPEAKER_00

Anyway. Every time I do something, I make like a stupid audio or something. Oh my god, we just save by Juan.

SPEAKER_01

Juan, save your farm. Juans are pretty funny. Oh, the voice memo? Yeah, the voice memo. I didn't even know you could save them, so. Oh, yeah. It says it'll say like under it, like save. Um where do they go though?

SPEAKER_00

Because I've saved stuff and like your memo place.

SPEAKER_05

I think the memos are where the recordings. Yeah. What's your favorite?

SPEAKER_01

Um, so I think for me, it's it's all of the embarrassing things, I think, that we've shared, you know, because I think it really has humanized us. And I think that's the comment I get the most that makes me feel the best is the people that are like, you guys are real. You're real people. You like share your life with us, and we're not just like, I'm perfect. I don't ever make mistakes ever. I don't, you know what I mean? Like, we're like, nah, we're freaking just dog rumors. We shave butts, we make mistakes, we've done X, Y, and Z just the same as you. Like, we're just people and like we're just brutally honest, I think, for the most part. Like, obviously, we try to be nice, but we also like share a lot of embarrassing stuff about ourselves. And I think that's so for real. And even things we didn't know about each other, right? Because like it's it still sticks with me that you said you'll pick your nose anywhere. Oh, yeah. Because like I'm I hate having stuff in my nose. And so Nathan would always be like, Stop picking your nose, like if we're in like the car or something. And now when he says that, I'm like, Juan does it too. You can't judge me. Juan does it too. Picking uh does the treasure.

SPEAKER_00

Who cares? Yeah, who cares?

SPEAKER_02

Everybody picks their nose.

SPEAKER_00

Oh, you're pretty red right now. I said I'm hot, I'm getting hot.

SPEAKER_02

Um, whether behind closed doors or not, everybody picks their nose. Just like everybody farts.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, everybody farts. I definitely fart.

SPEAKER_00

I don't fart.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, I fart all the time. Nathan definitely farts.

SPEAKER_00

No, I was trying to mind if I'm not.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, yeah. That's not Nathan's real fart or anything.

SPEAKER_05

I feel like another one of my favorite things is how vulnerable we are. I'm I'm not one to I always give my opinion on on things, but like there's a lot of stuff I don't really share or talk about just because it's like, who cares? I'll deal with it myself, you know. But like when we're when we're sitting here, for some reason, I'm just like word vomiting. It's like a thing that I would never ever say. Like my mom watches this show. You know, like it's just like it's just I and I and I and I like how coming from like I never wanted to be on social media, I don't post like ever. Anything on my Instagram is from like collabed from this, you know. Right. Um, so just like being able to be comfortable enough to just be like, oh well, whatever I say, oh well, because it's like you guys like know the real us. Yeah. I mean, there's stuff we cut out, but like I feel like we are humans, and it's nice that people see like they see your silly videos online and stuff, but like because of this, they know they know you guys, not just your humor, you know.

SPEAKER_01

Well, how many times has somebody walked up to you and goes, like, I know you don't know me, but I know you and it feels like we're best friends, and we are.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah. So I was similar. I was like, there's stuff I never thought I would say, and I feel like I've become more outspoken since this because even in the earlier episodes, I was very quiet. I didn't want to speak, I didn't want to say something stupid. Yeah, and now I've said all kinds of stupid things. Yeah, it's too late, it's out there now, it's in the universe, it's giving you confidence.

SPEAKER_01

Ew, are you like rubbing all your skin cells on it doing? I'm pulling it because it hurts good. I feel like he's like just rubbing his skin inside of it. Nathan was saying that the other day.

SPEAKER_00

Uh-huh. Anyway.

SPEAKER_01

Grip and pull. Nathan did say that the other day, though. Like he's shared things on this podcast that he would normally never share with like And my mommy and my daddy watch this. Yeah. But uh, I do think that's pretty funny, you know. Like, he's like, I never intended on sharing that information with anyone, and now the whole world knows.

SPEAKER_00

Yeah, because it is funny.

SPEAKER_01

It is funny, and it's us, authentically us. What about you, Ronnie? I really want a freaking response on a camera.

SPEAKER_00

Randomly just like, now Ronnie, go.

SPEAKER_01

Oh, um, the look on his face, though, he looks so annoyed. I know you have no idea. No, I'm not. No, he just working on my trade.

SPEAKER_02

He looks surprised because he's always like, uh-huh.

SPEAKER_04

I know, me.

SPEAKER_01

Um, what are we doing? Our favorite memory.

SPEAKER_04

Yes. Favorite memory. Uh I guess us traveling more, like for the Hershey and stuff. Like when we go for the podcasting, I think that's really fun because we're going like together for us as a group. Yeah. You know what I mean? And normally when we're at the competitions, like competing in this and blah, blah, blah. But that's like, we're going to celebrate all the hard work we did. So I mean, that was, yeah, it's like when we go to Hershey and all that stuff. I've only been the one year I didn't go the last year because Sooty, but but that bitch is always like dying and not dying, so I don't even know anymore. Like literally. It'll happen. When it happens, it'll happen. Mourning process is over now. It's like, oh my god, it's like shit. Uh we've made peace.

SPEAKER_05

Yeah.

SPEAKER_04

Well, she does really well, and then she does really bad, and then she does really, you know, you know how it is. Yeah, it's a roller coaster. You know, so yeah, no, just traveling and doing all that stuff.

SPEAKER_02

Like, you know, it's just getting our Barclays, too. Yeah, being on that stage together. Yeah. It was epic. And you know, never thought in a million years. Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

Do you guys remember like being baby groomers and be like, oh my god, the people that win Barclay honors? That that's like the epitome of like the industry. That's so and then it's like we have some. Yeah.

SPEAKER_02

Well, even uh, I never thought as a baby groomer, like winning an award, you know, any in a competition, right? It's just amazing, you know, how far we've come together.

SPEAKER_04

Yeah, there's a there's a lot of things. We've we've done so many things even since we started the podcast, like competing for the first time and doing everything else and breeding for the first time. Like, you know, it's like we've grown so much just as people, but like still a part of the podcast. Yeah, you know what I mean? So it's crazy because it's like, how how do you pick your favorite thing when my favorite thing is all the time? You know?

SPEAKER_01

That was really cute. Do we want to read a few of uh we love you, Rami?

SPEAKER_00

That's the new soundbite, though.

SPEAKER_01

Yeah, everyone going, uh we need that we need that on a button. Um, do we want to read? We did have some of our listeners send in some of their favorite memories. So I'm uh gonna start with Kendra because we just saw her at Master Groom Canada.

SPEAKER_00

And she said, What can we say about Kendra? Because like, do you think she wants us to talk about her things?

SPEAKER_01

No, no, no.

SPEAKER_00

No.

SPEAKER_01

She said her favorite memory is that one time you talked about me for a minute. So thank you for that, Kendra.

SPEAKER_02

Um, this is from Mallory Beaver. Uh, you guys are absolutely amazing. Listening to the podcast keeps me going through my days. I feel like I'm hanging out with friends. I'm always looking forward to new episodes, whether it be grooming information or hilarious moments that I can relate to. Mallory, we're your friend. We're all your friends.

SPEAKER_00

I like her name Beavers. Pretty cool last name.

SPEAKER_02

Yeah.

SPEAKER_05

This is a comment from Rachel. Uh, not exactly a memory, but y'all helped me fall in love with grooming again. I just had recently opened my salon and needed inspiration, and boy, did I find it. Thank you for not only the education, but the sense of community y'all have created within the industry.

SPEAKER_00

Thank you.

SPEAKER_01

Okay, here we go. Melissa said, My favorite one is hearing your stories as a baby groomer and seeing how much you've accomplished, not only in your grooming competitions, but also as a business owner and in your lives. It's really inspiring. Love you guys. You're awesome. Honestly, there are some groomers in the industry that I wouldn't feel comfortable to approach. That's just me being shy. But I feel like if I see you, I could even give you a hug. I hope to see you in person so I could give you a big one in appreciation for all the hard work that you've put into every episode. Thank you. Thank you.

SPEAKER_02

You know, you should come to Superzoo and give us a hug.

SPEAKER_01

Yes. Yes, definitely. We love hugs. Come give us a hug for sure.

SPEAKER_05

Win some stuff. Uh Rachel also said, it's recent, but I grabbed a screenshot from the first time y'all played this game, and I laughed so hard, and it's me losing to Nathan on pop and panic.

SPEAKER_00

So I'm I'm I'm uh I'm overleveled.

SPEAKER_04

He has more practice. He is 40, more years.

SPEAKER_05
