Yeah, I feel like we're gonna just gonna be like cats A right now. Each of us gonna go around and be like, we're so thankful. You know? Well, because no, I I am too. I feel like everyone is so thankful for different things because we all had different experiences here too. You guys taught classes, um, we were here at the booth for a little while. You guys explored. There's we had different conversations with different people, bonding over different things. It was it was really cool. I was nerding out with people about Pokemon and ferrets and all this other thing. You know what I mean? Like it was I was vibing with people, and you know me and people. So you know, I was I I had a good time. I I liked everyone I met. It was very cool.

Wow, it's earlier than we thought. It said evening starts around five. Oh and it lasts around 9 to 10 p.m. when and that's when nighttime begins. Oh. Interesting.

Uh, unloading was kind of a mess. We were getting told a couple different things. It's our first time exhibiting, having a booth. Uh, so we just had to figure it out. Um, but we were able to get in here though and start setup, which was which was nice. Um, and then yeah, I mean that was Monday for us.

It was very hot in here. They had all the doors open, all the doors. Um, and there was construction people everywhere.

Yeah, it was a little hectic. When we were in here, it was hectic. So I couldn't imagine when you guys were here.

It's well, you know, people are like construction people, but here at Superzoo, the some of the booths are huge, two stories, houses inside the building. You know, it's it's crazy.

Yeah, some booths have like decks. Yeah, like rooftop decks, yeah.

Yeah, I wanted to take a picture, but I forgot of the how that someone they a place built a house out of screens, so it was like an LED house. It was crazy inside the building. I don't even know what it was for.

Some of the vendors even have like baristas working all day.

Yeah, like the did you see that booth cooking steak?

Yeah, there was a booth cooking steak. Because it's they're selling dog food and they're cooking the raw dog food for you to taste it. Oh isn't that crazy for you to be like, look, it's that good, you eat it as well. Crazy. That's crazy. Did you try it? No, I walked by. It smelled, it smelled really. It smelled really good. Because even you did a you just posted a video and that wasn't even like no, it's just from order, it's just from one point A to point B to point B. That wasn't even like towards the other side of Super Zoo or anything. Like that was Oh, like weaving through. Yeah, it's it's crazy.

Yeah, if you were to go and like if you were to walk this whole thing aisle by aisle and didn't miss a a spot, like I don't know.

I'm I don't even know if you could do it in the whole time. Well, I walked like just down a couple different aisles each time I went out, and they were, I was like, oh, oh, oh, you know, there's so many different things. Like, I didn't see that before. But um, anyways, yeah, we flew. We flew, we got lucky this time, and we got upgraded.

We got the free first class upgrade. But to be honest, I think pretty much the whole flight got a free first class upgrade because it was probably it was like the smallest, like yeah, there was nobody on the plane. We were kind of shocked, so it was nice though, but our plane got delayed. So then, you know, when your plane gets delayed, they want you to get through it even faster. So then they like double speed, and we only got first class for like an hour instead of two hours. So that was a little disappointing, but it was still awesome.

Yeah, we got here, I mean, still delayed, but faster than I thought we would. Yeah. Because of the delay. Um, so we finally got maybe here like 10. Yeah, and then we went out and we we got a drink.

Yeah. His drink was gross, and then we went and watched a live band for a while.

Yeah. Well, she looked really stiff, even though she was gorgeous and she knew what she was doing. She looked really stiff, and every time he dipped her, he dipped her so low. And I thought, like, God, don't let something happen. I know.

Yeah, like if he let go of her, she would just shatter. It'd be nice. Like a porcelain.

Well, yeah, I know. We were talking about it. I was like, oh my god, that she's gonna like it's not painful. She like breaks her hip because she was he was dipping her and she was splitting and doing all these things and spinning around and they spin around each other. I'm like, oh my god, like I was nervous.

They weren't going for it. It was cute. It was adorable. It was adorable. Everybody was enthralled by them. We were all cheering. I feel like they got more cheers than the ladies think. And the band was great too. Yeah. She had a great voice, yeah. So that was really fun. We finally exhausted ourselves and we all went to sleep.

So nice. Yeah. I didn't partake because I'm not drink really drinking, but uh I got to watch them enjoy their mimosas and I ate delicious food and didn't even drink my water. So no, it was a it was a really nice breakfast. It was super sweet of them to send us over mimosas. Yeah, so thank you. Yeah. Um, and then after that we came and just finished setting up because you guys had set up pretty much. Yeah, you guys had so much done. I know.

Well, I mean, because we were here, right? And we were like, let's should we relax? Should we like lay down? And we're like, we're here, it's probably gonna be stressful as hell, so let's just get as much done as we can done. And yeah, yeah.

So for when you guys got in, we could set up the the camera and everything else and see how it was going. So yeah, it was it was just easier and stuff like that to get everything going.

Yeah, but yeah, Tuesday was a fun day because we got to kind of relax and just do our thing.

Oh, yeah, forgot a class. We had a class on de-shedding, and we had this adorable little Pomeranian. Um, the cutie pooped on the table twice. So that was really fun. It was awesome. Reality. No, it was honestly. I always take stuff like that as like a good learning lesson for the people out, you know, watching. And I mean, it's a dog, right? Like dog shit. It's gonna happen. So the poor thing, like he must have been tummy, upset tummy or extra stress he can hear, right? But he was a really cute Pomeranian, so it it was nice. I thought it was a nice class. So that was was it well attended? Yeah, that one was I was surprised because I was like, for day one, you would think like maybe not everybody would be there yet. Or well, also it's a Tuesday, you know? Yeah, but no, it was it was well attended, so that was nice. That's awesome, yeah.

It's always relieving because when I when we go into a class and we'll get there like 15 minutes early, and there's like 10 people like, oh fuck, there's no one here, and then like it'll it'll be like one minute from the class starting, and then like all of a sudden a bunch of people will start coming in. I'm like, oh thank god. And then you're also like, oh fuck, yeah, both one and the same. Actually, now like I can get in front of a crowd of people and it doesn't bother me now. It I I think I really think not as much. I always thought too, like it just I would never be comfortable in crowds, but I honestly think if you just do it, it you get used to it.

Do I feel like this helps even though we're not really staring people directly in the face? Also, this weekend, the booth and stuff, there we had a lot of people we were talking to and you know, rifling, getting people excited and hyped about our crowd. So we were talking in front of a crowd, you know. More so Katie than I. I had to do it yesterday, though.

So we yeah, we did end up finding $10 table roulette at um Excalibur Excalibur. Um, so that was three hotels over. Um, and you guys played some roulette. Um, farted around basically. Yeah.

Yeah. Well, on the way back, we um decided to do something different because we didn't want to just gamble our money away. So we went into this place which was like the neck interactive giant games that we play, and it's called play. And so we had fun doing that. Um that was really fun.

I want to do that every time. Yeah, it's so fun. It was super fun. That that is kind of a new thing coming. Not not coming, but I there's more and more of it.

It was crazy. It was entertaining. We did the Velcro thing on the other side too. Yeah, Velcro, that was cool. Jumping put the Velcro suits on, and then I had my arm through a wrong hole, and the lady couldn't help me, so I was all like a little stuck and had to fix it. It was all crazy. We also went to Re-Ra, I forgot. Oh, yeah. Irish Pie.

Oh, we forgot to mention, speaking of all the people cleaning up right now and all the construction going on around us. So Juan and I set up the booth and everything like that. We all did. That was the night that we were all here. It was the day before the big day. Um it was it was the bait, it was the day before the big day. Um, and so we had everything set up. You know, we had the tables decorate, all the stuff. We bought a candy bowl full of the blue ras lollipops, like our signature lollipop now. Just because it's blue and it matches, and I'm crazy. Um, so we had uh bye. Um, so we had a whole bowl and I filled it up, and the next morning it was gone. Yeah, the whole bowl. It's a big whole candy bowl full of uh mints and lollipops were gone and stuff. And then, but when we walked in, all this new carpet was here that wasn't here before and all the stuff. So we think all the construction workers took our candy, took all of our candy. And I guess I know it's not a big thing, but it's like we set it up at the booth and they like walked up to take all the candy.

I was still like $20 or not only that, there our shirts were rifled through. There were an extra small missing. Um, and our pens were missing off the table.

Someone stole the pens because they needed it. Our shirts were all mixed up out of order, and I have OCDs, so they were extra small, two at 5XL uh before we left, and we were uh and everything, and then the next morning the medium was up in the front, no extra small shirt, and then all the candy and pens were missing. So that was interesting. I don't know who wanted an extra small shirt in the construction crew, but yeah, I mean, hey, there we go. But that was just something that was interesting that happened one of the uh the first night before the big day.

Uh that was Tuesday. That was Tuesday. So Wednesday was our first day where our booth was open. Uh we got up early and made sure we got our food and uh our coffee and we came down. We didn't do any interviews that day, right? The first day. Kelsey. Kelsey. Oh, we did. So we did. I was like the days are all blurring together. Yeah, when is this coming?

So I do think that on Wednesday we did get in, we did interview, I believe we interviewed the great Judy Britton. Judy who we've been hoping to have on the show for a very long time. We we love her very much. California native, so that was fantastic. Wednesday was another great day. Here we got to meet so many great fans again.

So we sold so much merch the first day. People were excited about it. And thank you for coming in and getting it quick because the sweatshirts pretty much sold out the first day, all the small sizes. We only ended up 2x was our smallest left. And that's why I'm wearing a giant 5x because uh we had two of those left. So I was like, and I was freezing. So the the first day was warm in here when the doors were open, but after that, they had the AC blaring, which is great. But if you're not moving around, doesn't stop me.

I got a sweater, but I would say this first the first day was a little overwhelming, you know, just because it's you know, it's the first day, our first booth. I was pacing, I had uh my um pain stem in my hand clicking the whole time, and I was just like, but you know, then we had kind of a like a break, it settled down when the like the classes started, and you guys taught another class that day, right?

Yes, yeah, that one was really fun. That one we did a poodle and we did like the difference between like a fully hand scissored dog, so we did half of it fully hand scissored, and then the other side we set it in with guard combs so they could see the difference between those techniques. So I thought that was a really fun class.

And we started with the clippered in side, and by the time I was done with that side, I had only given myself like 25 minutes for the other fully hand scissored side because it was a one hour class.

We had a nice little crowd here, and um I think that's something we're all gonna always try to do, right? If we do these things, like it was probably the funnest part to always do raffles from our sponsors because I think people happy, yeah. So I'm like, every time I won, I was getting 150 plus tickets because I'm trying to play. Yeah, and even the random people from the event was going in and be like, this guy, this guy. And every time it was done, I was just like, one of those old people at the Legal Shot or something. Every time it was done, I was like, tap my card, play again, play again, play again. I had my hot seat and I was I loved that game. I want one installed in my home. I love it.

I had so much fun. And like Kat said, the first day was it was a little overwhelming and stressful. There was just so much love and support, and you know, uh, it was it was a lot. So after and going to that, it was it was great. The first day, it was a great stress for me. That was great and everything, and then oh, afterwards too. The um, sorry, are we getting into that, right? So we did swingers, yeah, we played the games, we did that. We we had so much fun in the arcade, we didn't have a chance to do mini golf because we were eating and we ran out of time, we were eating and drinking, it was arcade games. The event provided free food and beer and wine the whole time we were there. What an amazing event. Thank you, Super Zero. Great, and so we were playing games and doing that, but then after we went gambling, yeah, we went uh to play some blackjack.

Well, the so the hotel next to us, the Luxor, has uh one table for $5 blackjack. And so we went to that table and we stood around for a long time waiting for a seat to open and we all kind of just trickled in. Um, but it was actually great because I enjoyed watch just people watching too, watching the people play, watching the interaction between them and the dealer and seeing them win and lose, win and lose.

And then I just wanted to do like, you know, the nickels or something, just something fun for my $20. And freaking Kathleen wanted, like, no, do you more pressing all my buttons? No, it was only 10 cents.

So I cashed my $40 in, and then I gave Rachel a $5 chip and I kept a $5 chip. So it's it can be my memory because that was the first time I ever gambled. And so that was I I had I had a great time. The atmosphere with the two guys next to us, because it was Kathleena, Kat, and then Switch with Juan, and then Nathan was there, and I was there, and these two guys, and they were being really helpful too. And it was it was it was a good time. So after the stressful day, Wednesday night was a blast. I had so much fun.

So we've we had the booth for the rest of the day this week that went well, of course. The same as it's been every other day. We taught a four-hour class, so we did our start to finish. Yeah, that was really cool. We did a cocker spaniel, an American cocker spaniel, who did not poop on the table. Amazing. The palm poop, not the cocker.

Okay, well though it was the type of cocker. As soon as I turned the blow dryer on, this dog acted like it's never even been dried in its life. So it it I had to we had to blow dry this dog on the very minimum low setting by without a nozzle, so it took about an hour to just to dry it. But the guy the rest of the class went great. At least it was a star. Thursday, Thursday though, is like my favorite day at the Super Zoo.

And I walked outside the door and I asked somebody that was out there, and I was like, What booth is making all that noise? And they were like, Oh, I think maybe the wall booth, they're probably giving away some clippers or something. And I was like, Oh, okay. I was like, wow, that's so loud. And then Judy Branton walks over and she's like, What's going on at your booth? It's so loud. And I was like, What do you mean, my booth? And she was like, Your booth, you hear all this screaming. What's going on at your booth? And I was like, That's coming from my booth, and she was like, Yes. And I was like, Oh, we're raffling. There must be so many people over there. I can't believe it's so loud. Yeah. So it was a very proud moment to like hear it from all the way over there and be like, Yay, we're doing it.

What's going on? And like everyone was intrigued by the raffle. It was awesome.

So we went back in and said goodbye, and then all of a sudden everyone was in the bar, and then they're like, There's a dance floor. And so they got drinks.

Yeah, there was an open couch, it was comfy.

So, like at that point, we I danced for like an hour, hour and a half, and then I was like, I am so overstimulated, I need a break. And so, like, Kat and I literally walked back to the room in silence. And if you guys know me, that is not me. And we got to the room. The only words exchanged between us was Kat saying, Is it okay if I take a bath or will it disturb you? And I was like, take your bath, and then that was it.

And then, but you played, you asked the guy uh to play music, and it got even more hyphy because we were playing more Bay Area music and stuff.
